The hand controllers are just the right size for small hands, making it easy for my nephew to steer Mario around the track without frustration. We’ve been racing for an hour and he’s still totally engaged with the simple electronic controls.
My 5-year-old figured out the steering on these controllers in about two minutes, which never happens with his other toys. The Mario vs. Luigi setup means he and his sister can actually race each other instead of fighting over one car.
