The VW T2b "Martini Racing" Van from Carrera is a 1:32 scale model of the classic bus, finished in Martini Racing styling. It is officially licensed by Volkswagen and features front and rear lights as part of the EVOLUTION line.
The headlights and taillights actually light up on the track, which makes night racing sessions feel surprisingly authentic for a 1:32 scale bus. It handles the curves on my set much better than I expected for such a tall body.
The little front and rear lights actually work once it's on the track, which I wasn't expecting at this scale. Slotting it into my layout next to the other classic buses, it holds the line through corners better than I figured. Officially licensed details like that make the price feel fair.
The Martini stripes on this 1:32 bus look sharp, and the front and rear lights actually work when it's running on the track. Officially licensed too, so the proportions and decals are right. My son won't let anyone else race it.
